Orgiva – Los Cigaronnes – Travellers Site Outside Of Orgiva + The Original Dragon Festival Site :)

Orgiva – Los Cigaronnes – Monday 8th May – This really is a beautiful place to live, surrounded by the lush Alpujarra Mountains with a river flowing by from two dams further up the mountain. You also have a great view of Orgiva over in the valley.

From the road you can barely tell anyone is living here but when you squeeze past the massive Canya plants you will find cool houses and trucks everywhere πŸ™‚

This is a community that has been here for a long time also and many of the people here now own there bits of land here. This is a very peaceful place and all the locals are very friendly πŸ™‚ Hola πŸ™‚

Unlike Beneficio this is not somewhere you will see many tourists walking about which is cool but all the people here are very welcoming to random people appearing with a big truck πŸ™‚

This wasn’t meant to be our destination but some how we ended up here kinda by accident. πŸ™‚ We have been very lucky again just by meetin the right person at the right time and we have now been introduced to a great couple who are trying to help us find somewhere permanent to park-up for the rest of the summertime. For now we are parked on there land at the back of there house next to the road.

Its a couple of weeks later now and we have had no luck finding a place with water and that is accessible by the truck !! Most of these types of places have roads which are too small for us. !! We had a few possibles but they never happened in the end. Now we have moved the truck further into our neighbors land away from the road it is much better πŸ™‚

We are now a couple of weeks later again and its June. Scorchio !! We have met loads of nice people now and we have found someone who is up for us parking on his land till October and its just further up the track here. πŸ™‚ There is a great water supply for farming and we have found out there is a natural Spring for drinking water πŸ™‚ Only thing is it is up the mountain a bit !
